Kashmir is a burning topic since 1947 right after partition. Kashmir has always been more than a mere place. It has the quality of experience a state of mind and is a ideal. Kashmir has a very strategic location adjoining three nuclear power state India, Pakistan and China. Due to its natural resources especially water. Pakistan wants Kashmir independence which has become the Indian territory. We all are well aware of that the conflict of Kashmir issue has not resolved. Indian military bases and radicalizing Kashmiri youth in the name of Islam and freedom of Kashmir. China also helped Pakistan for making unrest in the Indian side. But are we aware of the pain those Kashmiri’s are facing from the past 73 years? Are we? No!
“Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches”
Everyday shells are fired and incidents are brutally murdered. Have we ever thought that what affects this will bring on the minds of the newborn infants? What environment they are living in and how will it affect their lives, how much violence it will bring in those young fresh minds? Everyday we watch people suffering in Kashmir from half a century. Kashmir is a very complex dispute, it is an ethnic, religious, territorial dispute. It is a dispute over Human Rights, but above all it is a dispute about the right of the Kashmiri people to determine their own political future. Apart from the terrible suffering and deprivation, the people of Kashmir have suffered and are suffering. They have also paid a terrible price. The Kashmir problem was sought not to be resolved by dialogue but by bloodshed not by force of reason but by the reason of force.
The world has progressed so much in the past few years but still the same old concept of superiority and inferiority has not gone from Indian brains. Being a literate they behave like an illiterate. We want to command by force and this what is doing for so long. India is tiring to force itself on Kashmir; it is nothing more than human violation. All the kashmiris are devoid of their rights. They are suffering from the curfew, bloodshed and are devoid from practicing their religion. Pakistan wants that world power should mediate in Kashmir issue to resolve the issue, people are starting to pay heed on this matter but still we need to highlight it again and again and help kashmiris raise their voice, and get the righteous freedom.
India and Pakistan had fought four wars in 1948, 1965, 1971 and 1998. Still, the issue of Kashmiri is not resolved. The problem can be solved only diplomatically and not by the military. The proxy war will not help in making any peace between two nations.
