Flower Spread On Social Media In This Pandemic

Our mobile phone is always glued to our hands, whether we are working, for outing or are in the bathroom (lol). We “live” on social media and during this pandemic when we all were self isolating our selves we gave all our 24 hours scrolling on Instagram and when our phones were dead we got hold of laptops and vice versa.

During this pandemic the atmosphere was terrifying, deaths and the rapid spread of corona virus is making us all fear for our beloved ones. Moreover social media is also full of such kind of news, we can see a lot of people still suffering. No cure is found even after so much work of the scientists, except we can only take precautions and maintain social distancing, but during all this what I observed scrolling Instagram was something that gave me a touch of delight.

As social media became equally essential in our lives, so, while I scrolled Instagram, I passed by a picture with “flowers.” At first I took it randomly, but shortly then I noted that there was a whole cluster of people who started posting pictures with flowers. Inspite of all that atmosphere I was in; suffering from depression and home sick, the flowery pictures were so pleasing to my sight that I could not resist to see more. People engaged more to these pictures and felt good.

You might think that what I’m talking or referring to? but instead this forced me to ponder over it and observe deeply, so I’m sharing it with you.

– Flower as a symbol:

Flowers means emotions, growth, blossoming and blooming, it lightens our mood and we are overjoyed with its fragrance. In these crucial days many photographers and Instagram models posted pictures with flowers and of flowers, which gave us a peace of mind, a wave of hope and happiness, life, love and refreshed our moods. These posted pictures outspreaded the hidden message of “the silver lining,” which we could not unveil.

Here are some pictures that made me gay and were a treat for my eyes;

1. Melting Frost:

2. Embracing Nature:

3. The Rainbow:

4. Clad In Petals:

5. Bright White:

6. Tender Bite:

7. Pink Solace:

8. Flower Crunch:

9. The Fresh Breath:

10. Pore Me Some:

Seeing all this gave me strength and filled me with positivity, that this pandemic will at last come to an end soon and eventually we all will find that silver lining.
