5 warming drinks you should try this season

In winter, days are getting colder and colder. There is nothing worth-it than swallowing a tasty hot drink. Not only hot drinks are comforting but it also cheers us up. Warm comforting flavours and an easy recipe made at home by yourself can be the best mood booster.

1. Marshmallow chocolate coffee:

We always go for hot chocolate or coffee so why not try a combo drink?

A different and a unique drink to upgrade your mood.

Ingredients (1 man service) :
  • 5 mink chocolate biscuits.
  • 30g of dark chocolate (melted).
  • 25g drinking chocolate.
  • 1 tablespoon boiling water.
  • 2 cups (500ml) milk.
  • Wipping cream to serve.
  • Marshmallow to serve.
  • Chocolate toppings.
Method:

-Take a sharp knife finely chop milk chocolate biscuits. Take a glass dip the rim in melted chocolate, then press the chopped biscuits on the rim.

– Then take a medium sized saucepan. On very low flame add coffee granules to it and start wisking. Gradually add drinking chocolate to it and add milk to it.

-Let it simmer. Put off the fire and melt the dark chocolate on double boiler then add it with mixture and pour it in the glass.

-Then put a little wipping cream and put marshmallows over it. Also top it with any chocolate topping.

-Ready to be served hot.

2. Melted Ice-Cream coca:

We love to eat Ice-cream and vanilla ice-cream is one of the favourite. Never thought of warm melted Ice-Cream ?

We bet try this and you would not gets your hand off it.

Ingredients:
  • 50gm melted Ice-Cream (Vanilla).
  • 1 pound butter.
  • 1 pound brown sugar.
  • 6 almonds.
Method:

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat add brown sugar when the sugar confectionizes remove it from heat, wisk it in the Ice-Cream . Serve it with finely chopped almonds.

3. Ginger Root Tea:

Ginger is always beneficial. It has a lot of healing properties. It is healthy to drink and great for digestion. If this ginger root tea is taken in the morning you will feel refreshing and it will prevent you from cold.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Teabags
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon zest.
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • 1 ½ cups of boiling water.
Method:

Boil the water add lemon zest to it along with lemon juice and tea bags. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes. Add sugar to your taste and serve it hot.

4. Simple Lemon Tea:

Lemon tea is always perfect for chilly nights after dinner and if suffering from cold then it is the best solution.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Tea bags
  • 2 table spoons of lemon zest.
  • 1 table spoon of lemon juice.
  • 1 ½ cups of boiling water.
Method:

Boil the water add lemon zest to it along lemon juice and tea bags. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes. Add sugar to your taste and serve it hot.

5. Masala Chai:

In Pakistan chai is something we cannot live without. We enjoy tea anytime. But just to boost up the taste try masala chai and enjoy.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cardamom seeds.
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 black peppers.
  • Pinch of cinnamon stick.
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, 1 slice.
  • 2 cups of milk.
  • 2 tea bags of black tea.
  • Sugar to taste.
Method:

Roughly crush cardamom, cloves and peppers, then place the crushed spices in the saucepan, along ginger, milk, sugar and 2 cups of water, bring it to a boil. Remove from heat add the tea bags then bring it to 2 boils and serve hot.
